I’ve tried, and failed at, nearly every diet plan you can imagine. In doing so, I’ve lost and regained major amounts of weight more times than I can remember. At 50 years old, I had resigned myself to never accomplishing my health & fitness goals. That all changed when I learned it wasn’t just about diet

Learning what to eat is only part of the battle. Weight loss requires a holistic makeover; mind, body, and spirit, before real change can be achieved. In the past, I temporarily lost weight using my own will power, but would inevitably gain it all back when my will power eventually failed me. Through the help of a health coach, I learned real success could only be achieved when I changed my mindset by developing new, healthy habits. Once my mind and spirit began to heal, I began experiencing real success and weight loss. I’m still learning, but I’m now 140+ pounds less than I was when I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and I’ve set some major goals for myself. As a way of paying it forward, I have stepped out of my comfort zone and began coaching others who desire to lose weight and improve their health and fitness.
